Regional Support Manager - Elderly Nursing Homes
Salary: Up to £85,000 + Bonus & Benefits
Location: Kent
Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading care home provider in their search for a Regional Support Manager to oversee a portfolio of 8 nursing homes across Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, nurse-qualified leader with a strong track record in elderly and dementia care.
The Role
As Regional Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding Home Managers to deliver high-quality care, ensure compliance, and achieve positive outcomes for residents. You will provide leadership across your portfolio, taking responsibility for services that require turnaround support, stepping in during periods of absence, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and operational support across a group of 8 nursing homes in Kent
* Ensure services meet and exceed CQC requirements
* Mentor and develop Home Managers, promoting best practice and consistent standards
* Take responsibility for homes requiring additional support, including turnaround situations
* Drive clinical excellence and maintain a strong focus on resident wellbeing
* Ensure homes meet performance and financial targets
The Candidate
* We are seeking a passionate and dynamic leader with:
* Nurse qualification (RGN / RMN) - Essential
* Previous home management experience within elderly care homes
* Proven experience managing multi-site services or supporting struggling homes
* Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
* Excellent knowledge of dementia and elderly care
* Ability to travel across the Kent region
