Head of Supply Chain
Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £55,000-65,000 per annum + Benefits

About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Head of Supply Chain with strong FMCG experience to take full ownership of end-to-end supply chain operations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, optimising processes, and leading teams to ensure best-in-class delivery across procurement, planning, warehousing, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
* Oversee procurement, demand planning, production scheduling, logistics, and distribution across multiple sites.
* Lead and inspire supply chain teams to deliver operational excellence, efficiency, and agility in a fast-moving FMCG environment.
* Drive cost optimisation, supplier performance, and value engineering initiatives across the network.
* Design and implement KPI frameworks to ensure high levels of service, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to support business expansion, new product launches, and sustainability initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards while embedding best practices.
* Leverage ERP systems and data analytics to enhance visibility, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
* Minimum 8-10 years' supply chain leadership experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or packaging sectors.
* Proven track record of delivering strategic impact across procurement, planning, logistics, and distribution.
* Expert knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced analytical skills.
* Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
* Experience in driving large-scale change and embedding continuous improvement.
