About the role
We're seeking a commercially astute, data driven Finance Business Partner Projects to join our High Street Finance team, based at our Support Centre in Swindon. This is a 6 month role to support our transition into TG Jones. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on using financial analysis to support commercial decision-making and drive performance.
Key responsibilities will include supporting the Head of Finance on ad hoc business investment cases for the strategic options resulting from the TG Jones transaction. This would include looking at sourcing options and other projects around optimising category margins.
This individual would need to be comfortable working across different functions across the business and confident in being both challenging and supportive. It would also be essential to have prior experience at summarising complex data and dealing with levels of uncertainty with also the ability to present to senior leadership to enable clear decision making.
About you
Experience required for this role will include;
* Fully qualified accountant
* Proactive and analytical, with advanced Excel skills
* Previous retail experience would be preferred
* Prior experience in business cases will be advantageous
* Reliable and thorough, with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
* Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
