We have an opportunity for a Scheduler to join our Responsive Maintenance team based in Skelmersdale. This is a key office-based role, supporting the day-to-day delivery of a busy repairs service and ensuring works are planned efficiently to deliver a high level of service to our clients and residents.
About the role
As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating works for operatives, ensuring diaries are fully utilised and jobs are delivered on time. You will work closely with operatives, supervisors, surveyors and customers, playing a vital role in the smooth running of the contract.
Key responsibilities
1. Scheduling and allocating responsive maintenance works into operatives’ diaries
2. Ensuring diaries are fully utilised and productivity is maximised
3. Managing changes, emergencies and variations in a timely manner
4. Liaising with operatives, supervisors and surveyors to coordinate works
5. Monitoring systems and responding to queries and updates throughout the day
6. Delivering a high level of customer service to clients and residents
7. Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet service targets and KPIs
About you
8. Ideally you will have experience in planning, scheduling, logistics or coordination
9. Experience within responsive maintenance, repairs, construction or property services would be advantageous, but is not essential
10. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
11. Confident communicator with good problem-solving skills
12. IT literate and comfortable working with scheduling systems
