Location: Worsley

Compensation: £21,000 - £26,000 / year

Description

As an instrumental part of the HR Department, the HR & Training Administrator will support the department to ensure the employee journey is smooth and consistent. You will be responsible for supporting a growing business across the UK. The HR team supports our contracts to ensure the business runs smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for most queries via email and phone, handling calls and queries for the wider HR & Training team.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

* Assist Senior Talent Partners with offer letters and contracts of employment
* Develop relationships with candidates prior to employment
* Update and maintain records between HR and Senior Talent Partners

New Starters

* Process starter documentation for PAYE, subcontractors, and Hudson, including eligibility to work, training qualifications, and induction records on internal systems such as Modular Plus and Skills Station
* Ensure all documentation is completed and stored correctly for departments like Payroll, Training, and Occupational Health
* Set up new employees and subcontractors within the IT systems to ensure smooth onboarding
* Maintain the New Starter Inbox (Connectwise)
* Ensure new starters hold valid ID cards for site compliance

Employees

* Process salary changes and updates to employee records, including maternity and paternity leave
* Maintain accurate employee records, including change of details and leave
* Maintain training records and liaise with Training Coordinators for certificates
* Handle reference requests
* Respond to employee and manager queries promptly

Reporting

* Monitor and report on Inclusion and Diversity data using Excel
* Generate reports on staff turnover, starters, and leavers
* Submit weekly training attendance and capacity reports
* Manage training recharges as per company policy
* Produce weekly team brief attendance reports
* Handle CITB grant claims and adhoc reporting such as Board Reports or salary data

Leavers

* Process leaver forms promptly, liaising with Payroll, Fleet, IT, etc.
* Communicate with PAYE leavers regarding leave data
* Process training recharges for leavers as needed

Adhoc Duties

* Handle employee queries via phone and email according to SLAs
* Perform other duties as required
