Role: Senior Medical Receptionist

Location: Apex House, Calthorpe Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 1TR

This role will be based within our Birmingham cluster, which involves working across multiple sites.

Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, working 4 days out of 6, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Salary: £25,700 per year

Joining us as a Senior Medical Receptionist you will support our visions and values of safety, integrity, kindness and transparency are embedded in our day to day care to ensure we deliver the best service possible.

Responsibilities:


* Effectively manage a team of patient co-ordinators and to include the following

o Produce a fair and consistent monthly rota o Sign off holidays in line with the business activity, ensuring adequate cover o Produce weekly plans for the weeks medical record preparation

* To be confident with absence reporting and completing return to work interviews
* To conduct 3 months and 6 monthly probation reviews highlighting additional training requirements
* To be involved in the appraisal process, preparation and delivery
* To be confident in delivering one to one meetings and recording conversations in writing
* To be involved in disciplinary and investigation meeting where required
* To be trust worthy with the management of confidential information
* Participates in the recruitment of new team members into the department
* Acts as trainer to new team members updating training manual
* Holding regular team meetings
