Interaction Education are pleased to be working with a great school in the Hertfordshire area in their search for a Headteachers PA.
This role is a temp to perm opportunity, beginning working with us, and then transferring onto the schools books as long as everything is well after a period of weeks.
The key responsibilities for this role can be found below:
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Headteacher, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
Act as the first point of contact for the Headteacher, liaising with staff, parents, and visitors.
Organize and prepare documentation for meetings, events, and reports.
Coordinate the Headteacher’s appointments and ensure they are well-prepared for meetings.
Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Assist with school policies, procedures, and general administrative tasks as required.
Support in event organization, including school events and parent meetings.
Handle day-to-day communications between the Headteacher, staff, and external agencies.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience working as a PA in a school or education setting is essential.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other administrative tools.
Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
Proactive, with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with school management software and systems.
Understanding of school policies and education regulations.
