Occupational Therapist – Community Adaptations
Location: Liverpool, United Kingdom
Rate: £35.00 per hour
We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to assess the needs of adults in the community for equipment and adaptations, helping them become more independent and remain at home.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments for adults requiring equipment and adaptations.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
* Identify and recommend equipment and adaptations to promote independence.
* Provide information and advice to service users and their families.
* Collaborate with agencies such as Housing, NHS, and voluntary organizations.
* Ensure adaptations meet assessed needs and are properly supplied.
* Stay updated on developments in occupational therapy equipment.
* Maintain professional development for HCPC registration.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with HCPC.
* Experience in adult community occupational therapy, especially in equipment and adaptations.
* Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
* Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
