You will manage multiple sites, direct labour, and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with PAS 2030/2035, client standards, and health & safety legislation. This role is ideal for someone with strong site management experience, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to lead teams effectively. Key Responsibilities Manage and lead operatives and subcontractors to deliver safe, compliant, high-quality retrofit works Ensure full PAS 2030/2035 compliance, documentation, and installation standards Plan and coordinate daily and weekly site operations, labour, and material requirements Conduct pre-start meetings, risk assessments, RAMS, toolbox talks, and resident liaison Monitor workmanship quality, productivity, material usage, and time allocation Carry out regular inspections, recording progress, defects, variations, and corrective actions Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to maintain programme timelines Identify risks or delays early and implement corrective action plans Maintain accurate records including compliance data, daily diaries, audits, and H&S documentation Promote a positive site culture built on communication, teamwork, respect, and safe working Coach and support operational teams to develop capability and performance Ensure excellent customer service and minimise disruption to residents Report progress, risks, commercial impacts, and KPIs to senior contract leadership About You 10 years trade background with strong technical understanding of property refurbishment 5 years experience managing operatives and subcontractors in a supervisory/managerial role 2 years experience in energy-efficiency or domestic retrofit projects SMSTS and NVQ Level 2 trade qualification essential Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Strong IT skills (MS Office, construction management software) Able to manage multiple sites and competing priorities Full UK driving licence How to Apply If youre an experienced Contracts Manager, Site Manager, Retrofit Manager, or Energy Efficiency Manager looking for a secure and rewarding role within the social housing and retrofit sector, wed love to hear from you.
