Role Overview
As a Travel & Tourism Lecturer, you will:
* Teach, assess, and monitor learners on Level 3 Travel & Tourism programmes
* Ensure delivery aligns with awarding body standards and quality expectations
* Plan robust curriculum, schemes of work, and engaging lessons
* Provide feedback, track student progress, and support learner development
* Contribute to curriculum improvement, quality assurance, and internal verification
* Engage with employer partners to enrich the learner experience
* Promote high expectations, professionalism, and a positive learning environment
This role is approximately 4 days per week; the exact pattern will be agreed in consultation with you and the college.
Person Specification
Essential
* A relevant qualification in Travel & Tourism (Level 3 or equivalent)
* Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
* Proven experience delivering Travel & Tourism at FE / post 16 / Level 3
* Strong sector knowledge and awareness of industry trends
* Excellent communication, planning, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate learning and support learners of diverse backgrounds
Desirable
* Assessor qualification
* Internal quality assurance experience
* Prior experience forging employer or industry partnerships
* Involvement in curriculum development or innovation
