About The Role

In the role of Team Lead, you’ll manage and mentor the team, ensuring robust staffing levels and seamless office operations. You’ll oversee training, support goal-setting, and collaborate with the Service Manager to meet team targets and address feedback. Your strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail will drive our success in a fast-paced environment. Healthcare experience is a plus, but your leadership and customer service excellence are what truly matter.

The role is based in the centre of Canterbury, Kent (Please note there is no onsite parking). We operate a 7 days a week service with the core working week for this role Monday-Friday, hours are 09:00-17:00 (30 minute break) with 4 days in office /1 day WfH (37.5h contract). Candidates will also be asked to work approx. 1 weekend day every 4 weeks, to provide \"on call\" management support to the weekend teams.


Principle duties and responsibilities

* Have an in depth understanding and maintain oversight of all tasks and processes within the ADHD service, including any offsite ADHD teams.
* Working within and supporting designated teams to maintain KPIs in line with contract requirements.
* Assisting administrators within teams with daily/ weekly monitoring of data and completion of tasks.
* Compiling activity and quality reports for discussion with peers and Service Manager on a weekly basis.
* Monitoring care pathways, liaising with Service Manager on day-to-day operational matters.
* Participation in the design and review of standard operating procedures alongside Service Manager and the team.


Person Specification

* Ability to collate, present, and interpret data or desire to learn.
* Understanding of NHS structure (e.g. NHS England, CCGs, NHS trusts) or desire to learn.
* Demonstrable experience within an operational role led by targets/trajectories.
* Ability to work with both details and 'the bigger picture'.
* Ability to lead and a motivate a team to ensure optimal productivity and achievement of targets.
* Confidence to liaise with internal and external managers (e.g. service manager, commissioning managers, CAMHS managers).
* Ability to communicate verbally and in written form clearly and in line with Psicon core values.
* Confidence to raise concerns with management if targets/KPIs are not being met or at risk of not being met.
* Psychology degree/assistant psychologist experience desirable but not essential.
* Ability to enhance business development including creation of growth strategies.
