The role
A brand-new opportunity has arisen with Sandown Motor Group for an experienced Business Development Manager at their brand-new Omoda Jaecoo business in Guildford. The Company Sandown Motor Group has over 30 years of experience, selling and servicing prestige cars, and has recently incorporated the Omoda Jaecoo brand within its business. A privately owned group, their simple goal is to deliver the most outstanding service from each of their sites in Guildford, Basingstoke, Poole, Dorchester, Salisbury, Newbury, Hindhead and Epsom. The Role The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the growth of Omoda Jaecoo’s fleet sales, building strong relationships with corporate clients, leasing companies, brokers and rental partners while acting as a knowledgeable brand ambassador for both Brands. You will proactively generate new business opportunities, respond to enquiries, prepare tailored proposals, and guide customers through the full sales journey—from product demonstrations and test drives to negotiation and handover. With responsibility for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring full compliance with FCA and Company standards, this role offers the chance to influence fleet performance, collaborate across departments, and contribute to Sandown’s long-term success in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market. Main Duties and Responsibilities Increase sales by proactively expanding and strengthening partnerships with key business channels. This includes identifying new opportunities, nurturing long-term relationships, and positioning our fleet solutions as the preferred choice across all partner segments. Act as a brand specialist for Omoda and Jaecoo, delivering product briefings, demonstrations, and in-depth explanations of features, technology, safety systems, and EV capability. Represent the brands confidently in customer meetings, events, and fleet sector engagements. Plan and manage a programme of sales activities to achieve agreed objectives. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the fleet sector. Prepare fleet quotations, tenders and tailored proposals in line with customer requirements. Oversee completion of sales documentation, finance agreements, leasing contracts and service packages in line with compliance requirements. Manage delivery arrangements and handover scheduling. Maintain accurate customer records, management reporting and follow-up systems. Ensure adherence to company policies and FCA regulatory requirements. On Offer Salary: £40,000 basic OTE £80,000 plus company vehicle Hours of work: Monday – Friday: 08.30 – 18.00 with a one-hour unpaid break. Total: 42.5 hours per week. Applicants will be expected to be immaculately attired as is befitting the Sandown Group and must hold a full driving licence as travelling to all sites will be a requirement of the role.
