The Exciting Role
Due to growth in student numbers, an exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated lecturer, with a Hairdressing background to join our close-knit team on a part-time hourly paid basis.
You will become part of a highly skilled staff network, who are passionate about raising and supporting aspirations, providing social mobility and an essential talent pool for the local, regional and national economy. We actively encourage the development and growth of our staff, from our internal 'Be Phenomenal' programme to building relationships with local stakeholders and developing opportunities for staff and students.
The successful candidate will be required to travel across sites.
This post could suit an experienced practitioner looking for their next challenge, a newly qualified teacher looking to make their mark within an Outstanding organisation, or a talented aspiring trainee teacher looking for support with their teaching qualification.

What You Will Be Doing:
* Teaching within the Hairdressing Team, delivering; hairdressing and barbering at different levels.
* Develop and share resources for the course/subject.
* Deliver enrichment and enhancement activities.
* Complete required assessment duties in relation to student assignments.
What We Are Looking For:
* 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
* A level 3 qualification in relevant subject area and appropriate professional experience.
* A recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment.
* An assessor's award (or equivalent) qualification.
* A strong experience within the hairdressing sector.
* Successful teaching experience within the hairdressing curriculum.
