Interested in horticulture and wanting to learn the products in detail?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established, ornamental nursery with a loyal customer base and a reputation for quality and service.
They're open to someone coming from a sales background, whether that's horticultural sundries, produce, agriculture, or a related sector, as long as you've got a genuine interest in plants and the willingness to learn.

What's the job?
You will join the office‑based sales team, managing customer enquiries while working closely with the Sales Manager to support existing accounts and develop new opportunities.
This is not solely a cold‑calling role. You'll inherit customers, whilst having a focus on building new, strong, long‑term relationships.
Day to day, you’ll:
* Handling enquiries and preparing quotations
* Managing orders through to delivery
* Acting as the main point of contact for customers
* Building relationships and developing existing accounts
* Supporting targeted business development activity
* Learning the product range, seasonality and stock availability
* Visiting key customers to understand their needs
* Attending trade shows
* Working closely with production and dispatch teams to ensure smooth delivery
What do I need?
* Experience in a sales or account management role
* A genuine interest in horticulture and a willingness to learn about plants
* Experience in a similar or transferable industry
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* Commercial mindset and proactive approach
* Full UK driving licence
