Pay: £105–£125 per day (depending on experience)
Job Summary:
A secondary school in Bolton is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor / SEMH Support professional to work with pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support. Starting in September, this full-time role is ideal for candidates passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with SEMH needs, both 1:1 and in small groups
Assist classroom engagement and behaviour management
Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience
Implement behaviour strategies and interventions
Liaise with teaching and pastoral teams
Requirements:
Experience working with young people (schools, youth work, mentoring, care, etc.)
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
Understanding of SEMH, trauma-informed practice or safeguarding
Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
