Redgate Primary Academy are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Catering assistant to join our dynamic, talented and supportive team. We would very much recommend and welcome you for a visit so you can meet us and understand our community.

The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will manage and deliver the provision of catering services for the academy including meals and special functions, such as theme days and occasional buffets.
The successful candidate will:
* Understand the importance of community.
* Be a positive role model who can build a good rapport with our staff and children.
* Follow food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen in accordance with health and safety, food hygiene and COSHH regulations at all times
Essential
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting demands.
* Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students and providing equality of opportunity.
Desirable
* Some experience in catering.
