Executive Vice President - Fulfilment at ProClinical(Recruitment Delivery & AI/Software into Life Sciences)
Location - Milton Keynes (4 days per week on site)
We are looking for a dedicated Quality Officer to join our pharmaceutical distribution and logistics teams. These roles are vital in ensuring that medicines and healthcare products are stored, handled, and delivered safely, in full compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and international quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure daily warehouse and transport operations comply with GDP and ISO standards
* Maintain and improve the site Quality Management System (QMS)
* Investigate deviations and carry out root cause analysis
* Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues
* Conduct internal audits and support external inspections
* Provide training and guidance to operational staff on compliance requirements
* Collaborate with Responsible Persons and management to align regulatory practices
The role requires strong knowledge of GDP guidelines, ISO9001 auditing, and quality systems, as well as the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational needs. You will collaborate closely with site teams, Responsible Persons, and management to ensure compliance across all activities. Candidates with experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare distribution are ideal, but we are also open to individuals from other regulated industries such as food, automotive, aerospace, or medical devices, provided they have a strong understanding of quality and compliance standards.
Candidate Profile: We are seeking individuals with demonstrable GDP experience and familiarity with regulated distribution environments. You should be confident in handling deviations, conducting root cause analysis, and supporting operational teams in compliance matters. Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship is essential, and candidates must be comfortable with the salary range and on‑site requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build their career in pharmaceutical logistics, gain exposure to large‑scale operations, and make a direct impact on patient safety through quality and compliance.
