Care Worker – Supporting Young People with SEND
Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join their team this September.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualised care and support to students with SEND.
* Assist with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner.
* Support students in managing challenging behaviours using a calm and constructive approach.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to implement care plans.
* Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills in daily activities.
Qualifications
* Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
* Right to work in the United Kingdom.
* Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role, ideally in an SEND or educational setting.
* A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.
Ideal Candidate
* A genuine passion for working with young people with additional needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and development.
