You will act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external agencies, contributing directly to safe custody, lawful release, and effective offender management.This is a fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, and confidence working within a highly regulated environment.Join Sodexo and be part of something greater — a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.For more information, please visit Sodexo Careers.Main ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive administrative support to the IOMU in line with policies, procedures, and Prison Service Instructions (PSIs)Accurately complete sentence calculations, including new sentences, transfers, recalls, civil, and confiscation ordersEnsure the correct and timely release of residents, including preparation of licences and release documentationCoordinate court productions, including physical attendance and video link appearancesManage parole processes, including oral hearings, dossier collation, and coordination with all partiesIdentify and notify the Home Office of all Foreign National OffendersLiaise with external agencies including Probation Services, Courts, Immigration, and Social ServicesSupport Sentence Planning Boards, Release on Temporary Licence (ROTL), and Home Detention Curfew (HDC) processesConduct pre-release checks and ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted on timeMaintain and update computer systems and recordsRespond to telephone, email, and written enquiries, complaints, and postTake minutes for meetings when required and support the Custody Team Leader and ManagerEnsure all work is completed with a high level of security awareness and confidentialityPlease refer to the attached job description for full role requirements.The Ideal CandidateYou will be an organised, reliable administrator who is comfortable working in a structured and process-driven environment.You will have:Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft OfficeExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlinesConfidence communicating with internal teams and external partnersExperience working within strict processes, procedures, and compliance frameworksStrong organisational and diary-management skillsA customer-focused approach with a calm and professional mannerAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to attend training as requiredPlease note: Successful candidates will be subject to Enhanced Level 2 Security Clearance and an Enhanced DBS check.Package DescriptionSalary: £10,842 per annumHours: Part-time, 16 hours per weekWorking pattern: Wednesday & Friday, 08:30–17:30 (subject to change)Fixed term 1 year contractBenefits:Free car parkingFree meals on siteAccess to on-site gymEmployee Assistance ProgrammeWhy Join Sodexo?Working with Sodexo is more than a job — it's a chance to be part of something greater.
