Fire Suppression Engineer – Join Our Growing Team

As a result of continued growth, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fire Suppression Engineer to join our team. This full-time role is primarily field-based with support from our office. We're looking for a dedicated professional with hands-on experience across a variety of fire suppression systems and a passion for high-quality service and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend client sites to test and inspect fire suppression systems in line with British Standards and manufacturer specifications.
* Service, maintain, and commission systems such as FM200, Novec 1230, CO2, Inert Gas, Low and High Pressure Watermist, FirePro Aerosol, Kitchen Suppression Systems (Kitchenguard, Amerex, Ansul), and PAFSS.
* Diagnose and resolve faults using sound electrical principles.
* Record system activations and findings using our Simpro system.
* Issue service certificates and communicate any required rectifications to senior management.
* Complete service and installation work efficiently and to high standards.
* Respond to emergency callouts as needed, including occasional overtime.
* Write comprehensive technical reports for inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
* Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication and a professional approach at all times.
* Represent the company positively when dealing with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with practical knowledge of a wide range of suppression systems.
* Mechanical or electrical engineering background.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
* Practical, methodical approach to work.

Schedule
