Our team welcomes you to the Audi F1 Project, where Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team is based in three locations: the Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany), the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. Our Power Unit originates from Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis development and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany.
In the Energy Recovery System (ERS) division, you will work with the department management team on developing and testing key components that enhance power unit performance and competitiveness in a highly demanding environment.
This position is available starting January 1, 2026.
Your Mission
* Support the ERS department head as an interface between development departments and the workshop
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing ERS development projects (including premises and target monitoring)
* Help the department management in budget planning for ERS projects
* Coordinate cross-departmental testing and deployment of ERS components
* Assist in planning assembly of components with responsible teams and workshop
* Contribute to optimizing development processes and methods
* Analyze technical data and prepare progress reports
* Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Your Profile
* Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
* Experience in motorsport or electric drive system development, with project management skills
* Development experience with electric drive systems for motorsport or similar environments
* Excellent organizational skills and team spirit
* Analytical mindset and structured working approach
* Passion for motorsport and innovative technologies, with high commitment
* Proficiency in German or English; willingness to learn the other language
