Responsibilities
* Running and monitoring CNC machines
* Routinely checking and monitoring Machine Shop throughput/efficiencies
* Support implementation of 5S activities throughout the machining areas
* Comply with all the organisations HSEQ policy and procedure requirements - including Risk Assessments, PPE Instructions and other Safe Working Instructions.
* Conduct pre-use visual checks on machines prior to commencing work.
* Check condition of cables of equipment prior to commencing work activities.
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area before, during and after completing work.
* Examine own work, checking for defects to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications
* Record work activity on Production packs (and any other documentation as and when instructed).
Basic Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years working with CNC Lathes and/or Milling machines
* Minimum of 3 years setting experience
* Experience using Mazak CNCs desirable
* The ability to work in both Metric & Imperial units.
* An understanding of drawings / technical data
* Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with personnel at all levels;
