Responsibilities
* Manage a team in your room to create and plan daily activities to engage and teach the children
* Work closely with the management team and parents to build strong relationships and best practice
* Support the delivery of LEYF's teaching model with room-appropriate creativity to suit how children learn best
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
Requirements
* The right to work in the UK
* Level 3 or above childcare qualification
* Ability to lead a ratio-bound team and build strong relationships
* Ability to safeguard and protect children
* Positive, adaptable and friendly disposition
About the nursery
Children's Garden Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and care to children from birth to 5 years old. Located on the University of East London (UEL) campus, with access to nearby facilities. We are close to several DLR stations. The children enjoy science experiments, cooking, gardening, construction, and messy play with sand and water.
