Salary – £50,604.40 per annum
About Us:
At Arriva TrainCare we provide high quality overhaul, maintenance and servicing of passenger rolling stock, locomotives, freight wagons and track plant. We operate throughout the UK from six strategic locations – Crewe, Bristol, Eastleigh, Cambridge, Tyne Yard and Scarborough.

What You’ll Do:
4. Implementation and maintenance of Safety systems, Production efficiency and Quality output at the relevant Depot site.
5. Competence Assessment of relevant Team Members.
6. Wellbeing of all relevant personnel.
7. Implementation of Customer requirements.
8. Production of meaningful KPI’s for internal and external monitoring.
9. Mentoring and coaching of Team Members.
10. Assisting with continuous improvement innovations.
11. Ensuring work locations are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant standard
12. Carry out fitter duties, when required, to ensure minimum service levels are achieved.
13. Carrying out and recording of start of shift briefs and daily safety meetings.
What You Bring:
Qualifications
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering
Experience
Previous experience or understanding working in a rail maintenance environment
Management of rail vehicle depot operations
Key Skills
People management training is desirable
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering
Good understanding of applicable health, safety and environment standard
