This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in supporting engaging and safe practical science lessons. About the Role As the Senior Science Technician, your key responsibilities will include: Preparing, maintaining, and setting up equipment and materials for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons. Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed in line with CLEAPSS guidelines. Managing stock control, ordering, and maintaining accurate records. Supporting and mentoring junior technicians within the department. Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and supporting practical classroom activities. Maintaining laboratories and prep areas to a high standard. Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a Science Technician in a school or laboratory setting (senior level desirable). Good working knowledge of lab safety and chemical handling. Strong organisational and communication skills. A relevant science qualification (A Level or degree preferred).
