The focus is on driving profitable growth, strengthening client relationships, increasing account penetration, and leading contract negotiations. You will act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring a high level of service and long-term partnership value.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage and grow a portfolio of national accounts, delivering against individual and tiered revenue targets</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders within each client organisation</li><li>Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts through regular analysis and strategic planning</li><li>Ensure all account activity, opportunities and communications are accurately recorded on the CRM system</li><li>Proactively manage client engagement, identifying and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner</li><li>Lead all proposals, plans and presentations, consistently exceeding client expectations</li><li>Negotiate contracts and manage renewals, ensuring continuity and commercial improvement</li><li>Develop and implement tailored account strategies aligned to client objectives</li><li>Confidently represent the organisation and its full product/service offering</li><li>Continuously build knowledge of the product and service portfolio, including new developments</li><li>Implement and maintain client retention strategies across all accounts</li><li>Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery</li><li>Identify upselling opportunities and manage trials or pilots where appropriate</li><li>Strengthen long-term partnerships by creating strong client dependency and value alignment</li><li>Minimum of 10 client appointments per week (mix of face-to-face and virtual)</li><li>Client proposals issued within 48 hours</li><li>Quarterly presentation of growth plans and opportunities to senior stakeholders</li><li>Ownership and monthly update of account retention strategy documents</li></ul><h3>Skills & Attributes</h3><ul><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word</li><li>Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Confident handling challenging situations and commercial decisions</li><li>Highly organised with strong time management skills</li><li>Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team</li><li>Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term growth</li><li>High energy, drive and professional credibility</li></ul><h3>Experience & Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a B2B account management or sales role</li><li>Proven experience managing customer accounts valued at £500k+</li><li>Full UK driving licence</li></ul><p>If you have not been contacted within 5 working days, then unfortunately on this occasion your CV has not been shortlisted.</p><p>Would you like to discuss this job further?
