Job Description: Support Worker

Salary: £12.21 per hour (£25,396.80 per annum)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week - Waking Nights

Service: Essential Care and Support Limited

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at Essential Care and Support Limited - Trimdon Station. Essential Care and Support is part of the National Care Group and specializes in providing person-centred care across supported living, outreach, and day services. We support individuals with a range of needs including Learning Difficulties and Autism. If you want to make a difference every day, then this may be the job for you.

The Role of a Support Worker

You will work with young adults with complex needs. We seek a respectful and caring individual passionate about supporting young adults to fulfill their potential. This role can be challenging but highly rewarding. You will build positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals together. Your duties include planning daily tasks, assisting with practical activities like cooking, cleaning, and errands, supporting with personal care (including eating and medication), and participating in days out. Your support will help individuals become more independent.
