Detailed job description and main responsibilities • Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of all patients presenting to the Trust. • To share the management of adult and paediatric patients with dermatology conditions referred to the Trust, with colleagues in the Dermatology Directorate. • Supporting the Dermatology clinical nurse specialists. • To actively participate in both Directorate and Trust matters relating to Clinical Governance and audit. • To have responsibility for and actively participate in continuing professional development (CPD). Person specification Experience Essential criteria Dermatology Experience GMC Specialist Register in Dermatology Desirable criteria NHS Experience Any sub-specialty interest appropriate to a DGH Dermatology Unit Knowledge Essential criteria Evidence of thorough Dermatology experience Experience Essential criteria Competence in the management of acute and chronic skin conditions Ability to take full and independent responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision Teaching Essential criteria Knowledge and ability to teach all grades of trainees and medical students Desirable criteria Completed a Teaching the Teachers or similar course It is an exciting time to join the newly formed Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
