Overview
TL;DR: Do you love video games and football, and are you extraordinarily blessed in the creative department? This video gaming specialist creative agency seeks a creative unicorn to join it on-site at its Leeds city centre office.
What’s the job? We’re looking for an experienced multi-disciplinary creative. A generalist—a jack-of-all-trades who’s also pretty darned good at many of them. A large (but not the sole) focus of this role will be working on a AAA football game, so knowing what makes the sports audience tick on social, and having a genuine interest in that world, is important. You should be able to take ownership of creative projects, stay in control and communicate well with clients and colleagues through all stages of the creative process, and be responsible for the quality of your creative output. The more hands-on you are, the better, but you’ll have a team of experts around you to support your creative aims.
Back to the unicorn thing: if you have any of the following skills then they could be put to good use: creative ideation, videography, video editing, graphic and web design, motion graphics, production and project management, social media content creation, copywriting, and a resplendent, solitary horn protruding proudly from your forehead.
Sounds interesting. How do I get the gig? We want somebody who’s into video games and gaming culture, who’s into sports (particularly football) and who enjoys creating impactful and memorable content. We want a self-starter who can take the initiative. If you’re going to work with us as a Creative Lead, we’ll want a solid portfolio that shows considerable experience and capability in the creative realm. We’re not asking for X years of relevant workplace experience; we’re looking for talent, drive, and a great attitude. For a Creative Lead-level role, we’ll be looking for somebody who’s been around a bit.
