This role will suit someone with experience across painting, maintenance or wider property services, with the confidence to operate across both commercial and operational aspects of delivery. Youll be involved in everything from cyclical checks and performance monitoring through to financial control, labour management and client engagement. This is a role for someone who is hands-on, proactive and comfortable being out on site. The Role Manage commercial performance across planned maintenance and refurbishment contracts Carry out cyclical checks and site visits across the region Oversee and validate direct labour productivity, wages and outputs Monitor targets, performance and bonus structures Maintain strong control of checks, balances and cost management Work closely with operational teams to ensure delivery is aligned Engage with clients, residents and stakeholders as a key representative of the business Support overall contract performance from a commercial and operational perspective The role carries full responsibility for managing contract cost, value and financial performance through to completion What Were Looking For Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within maintenance / refurbishment / social housing Experience in painting, planned maintenance or cyclical works (ESSENTIAL) Ideally some building surveying or condition-based experience Strong commercial and financial awareness Experience working with direct labour and subcontractors Comfortable working across site and office environments Strong interpersonal skills able to engage with clients, residents and stakeholders A positive, proactive and motivated personality Someone who will fit into a hungry, high-performing team environment Ready to take this on?
