Deputy Programme Director
Location: Hybrid role – Whiteley, Hampshire
Clearance: SC clearance required
Leidos is seeking an experienced Deputy Programme Director to lead a major, complex aviation programme. The senior role reports directly to the Programme Director and provides strategic oversight, operational leadership and ensures delivery against contractual commitments and milestones.
What will I be doing?
* Act as deputy to the Programme Director, providing leadership and direction across the programme.
* Oversee delivery of systems integration activities, ensuring alignment with contractual deadlines and quality standards.
* Drive programme governance, risk and dependency management, and implement robust mitigation strategies.
* Manage complex stakeholder relationships across internal teams, external partners, and customers.
* Ensure financial performance of the programme, including forecasting, cost control and reporting.
What does Leidos need from me?
* Extensive experience leading large‑scale, complex programmes, ideally in systems integration within aviation or related industries.
* Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary programmes with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
* Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
* Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of contractual frameworks.
* Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
