Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.
The Role
The Marketing Executive will work as part of the Marketing team to drive new customer acquisition and engagement across all key market segments (leisure, hotel and events). This will include a range of online and offline channels in line with longer term plans and short term needs. A varied role working in a small team across the full marketing mix to generate leads, sales and engagement to support the business in meeting challenging targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Update, optimise and manage content on The Lensbury website via WordPress CMS
* Create engaging weekly member emails and monthly accommodation emails
* Create original and engaging content for all channels, including engaging copywriting, photography and videography
* Work with the PR agency to successfully support PR plans, activations and press visits
* Work with creative agencies on marketing campaigns for all business segments, creating clear briefs and supporting projects to successful completion
* Work closely with eCommerce Manager to support with the delivery of the digital marketing strategy; PPC campaigns, paid social media, META search and SEO
* Work with internal departments to create of a wide variety of attractive, brand-consistent printed materials and collateral
* Ensure brand guidelines are applied consistently on all marketing collateral
* Update and manage content across The Lensbury Club App.
* Identify and drive opportunities to maximise membership engagement and average spend
* Ensure club noticeboards, digital screens and promotional displays are kept up to date across the site
* Work with the rest of the Marketing team to implement The Lensbury social media strategy
* Ensure all third party advertising sites are fully up to date with relevant content that presents The Lensbury as positively as possible for each audience
* Actively seek, identify and suggest new marketing opportunities

What we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:
* Experience of working in a similar fast paced, challenging environment preferable
* Clear understanding of digital marketing channels and platforms including CMS, social media and digital tools
* Excellent attention to detail including a high standard of written English and understanding of design language
* Creative flair with a passion for content creation
* WordPress CMS experience preferable
* Strong time management and ability to prioritise own workload
* Design, copywriting skills and proofing. Knowledge of Photoshop/InDesign/Canva is desirable
* Able to effectively and positively communicate with people across the business and externally, ensuring Marketing is always represented positively and professionally
* Photography and/or videography skills preferred
* Experience in managing online communities on social media and other digital platforms
* Knowledge/experience of the hotel/hospitality/leisure/event industry is desirable
