Key responsibilities
* You will work collaboratively with a range of technical specialists on a broad range of projects, assisting with the co‑ordination of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and consenting projects and related deliverables.
* You will assist on the coordination and delivery of environmental work undertaken by multi‑disciplinary teams, including EIA, options appraisals and environmental management.
* Collate and edit information from a range of sources to provide clear, well‑written reports.
* Competently undertake own work to an excellent standard on time and to budget.
* Support senior management with bid preparation and project management to ensure projects are delivered on‑time, on budget and to quality and client expectations.
* Undertake continual professional development in accordance with the requirements of the chosen professional institute.
* Work towards chartership through IEMA or another relevant professional body.
Qualifications & Experience
* Educated to degree level in an environmental or related discipline.
* Experience with EIA and consenting projects across any sector.
* Good knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical specialists.
* Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills.
* Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
* Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate issues and ideas effectively.
* High self‑motivation, enthusiasm and commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes.
Location & Flexibility
While attendance in Glasgow is preferable, we support flexible working arrangements and are interested to discuss how we can accommodate individual requirements. The successful candidate may work from Glasgow at least part of the time or from other AtkinsRéalis or client office locations.
