Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven E-commerce Manager to scale our online sales across the UK and European markets, with a primary focus on the UK market. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth across Shopify D2C stores and Amazon UK, managing paid performance marketing, and optimising the online customer journey.
The successful candidate will take ownership of website performance, marketplace growth, digital acquisition and marketing budget management.
This is a hands-on, commercially accountable role suited to someone who thrives in a growth-focused environment where you take charge and drive AVA's success forward.

Having launched in the UK three years ago, we now sell via our own D2C website, Amazon, B&Q, DIY.com and Halfords Online. As we continue to scale, our focus over the next few years is significant direct-to-consumer growth and strengthening our position as a premium challenger brand in the UK and European markets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Shopify Store Management (UK and Europe)
* Full ownership of Shopify storefronts
* Driving direct-to-consumer revenue growth
* Creating and optimising high-converting landing pages
* Continuous website optimisation (CRO, UX improvements, PDP enhancements)
* Briefing and coordinating with web developer
* Monitoring integrations and reporting issues to integration partners
2. Amazon UK Management
* Full account management of Amazon UK Seller Central
* Listing optimisation (SEO, imagery, A+ content)
* Managing and optimising Amazon Ads campaigns
* Planning and executing promotional campaigns
* Monitoring account health, profitability and performance metrics
3. Paid Performance Marketing
* Managing and optimising Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns
* Creating ad creatives where required
* Ongoing campaign testing, scaling and optimisation
* Reporting on ROAS, CAC, conversion rates and channel profitability
4. Commercial & Financial Responsibility
* Supporting monthly and annual forecasting
* Assisting with stock and demand planning
* Managing the monthly marketing budget
* Supporting annual marketing budget planning
Performance Metrics
Success in this role will be measured by:
* Revenue growth across Shopify and Amazon
* Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
* Contribution to overall business profitability
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience driving D2C sales via Shopify
* Strong understanding of paid media (Google & Meta)
* Experience managing or working with Amazon Seller Central
* Commercially driven with strong analytical ability
* Experience managing marketing budgets
* Hands-on approach with the ability to execute and strategise
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working across international markets preferred
