At Banana Moon Day Nurseries, we are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join our vibrant team. In this dynamic role, you will lead a room of children, guiding their development through engaging play and educational activities in a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities
* Plan and implement the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum, assess children's progress, and support your team to ensure high standards of care and education.
* Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, creating a collaborative atmosphere that prioritizes each child's well-being and enjoyment.
* As a leader, influence practice and mentor others while being part of a group that values professional development and teamwork.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
* Previous experience in an early years setting, with leadership experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development milestones
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with children, parents, and colleagues
* Demonstrated ability to motivate and supervise a team
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families
* Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
* A passion for early years education and a commitment to providing high-quality care
