Head of Sales

Up to €120 000 base salary

5V Tech is supporting a long-time partner in Germany. They are a growing automotive software scale-up. l looking for a Head of Sales to take responsibility for its commercial team of 4.
The product is already live in the market, customers are established, and the focus now is on strengthening sales leadership, improving decision-making, and scaling in a smarter way.
This is not a corporate environment. It is a flat organisation where sales leadership has a voice, autonomy is trusted, and impact is visible.
The role
Lead and develop an established sales team
Act as the commercial escalation point and bring structure before issues become costly
Stay close to the market, customers, and deals when needed
Improve sales processes, forecasting, and decision-making
Work directly with senior management in a flat hierarchy
Combine leadership with hands‑on involvement where it adds value
What they are looking for
Proven leadership experience in B2B sales
Background selling software products, ideally within the automotive industry
Existing network in automotive, mobility, or related tech markets
Experience in start‑up or scale‑up environments
Fluent German speaker
