Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Seasonal Christmas Land Train Driver. This unique opportunity allows you to spread holiday cheer while providing safe and enjoyable rides for guests. As a driver, you will be responsible for operating the land train through festive routes, ensuring a memorable experience for all passengers.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate the Christmas Land Train along designated route.
* Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers and ensuring their comfort throughout the ride.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition, reporting any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly.
* Assist with loading and unloading passengers, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
* Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times, including performing routine cleaning as necessary.
* Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any operational concerns or passenger feedback.
* Liaising on radio with other land train driver to ensure smooth timings and running of service
* Overalls will be provided to wear as part of the experience.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess a background in driving commercial vehicles, with experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Commercial driving or shuttle driving experience
* Delivery driver experience with a focus on safety and customer service
* Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operation and maintenance
* Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers
* Familiarity with various vehicle types including box trucks, flatbeds, and tow trucks
* Previous roles in warehouse operations or freight handling are advantageous
* Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
Position is mainly undercover in the cab
Hours
Weekday hours from 3pm-8.30pm,
Weekends and 22nd,23rd,24th December 9am-8.30pm, please see dates below).

* Interviews will be held online via Teams no later than the 10th November.
* The onsite training date listed is mandatory not optional, Time TBC.
* Hours listed are approximate and will be confirmed on rota.
* Own transport to commute is essential due to location.
