Senior DevOps Engineer
Fully remote across the island of Ireland
Up to £88,000 salary
We are working with a well established software house that builds a leading HR and payroll platform used by thousands of businesses. With offices in Dublin and Belfast city centre for those who prefer a hybrid setup, the organisation offers genuine flexibility and one of the highest retention rates in the market.
The engineering function is led by a Head of Software who is a developer and technical architect by trade, someone who leads from the front and works closely with engineers day to day. With continued growth and product expansion, they are now adding a Senior DevOps Engineer to help strengthen their platform, improve automation and support a modern cloud based delivery model.
You'll join a collaborative, engineering led environment where decisions are made quickly, quality is prioritised and DevOps plays a central role in how features reach production.
Key responsibilities
Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines across multiple product teams.
Improve observability, monitoring and alerting across cloud environments.
Automate infrastructure using IaC tools.
Support containerisation, orchestration and environment consistency.
Collaborate with engineering and architecture to improve reliability and delivery workflows.
Contribute to security, governance and performance best practices.
Required experience
Strong DevOps or platform engineering experience.
Hands on knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally AWS or Azure.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation or other IaC tools.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Good communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams.
