As the Radiology Manager at our Plymouth Hospital, you will work within a multidisciplinary team as a clinical leader, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and technically accurate Diagnostic Imaging services. You will foster a frontline leadership framework within your team, ensuring services are managed safely and seamlessly, aligned with Nuffield Health’s robust clinical governance, legislation, and professional standards. As an HCPC registrant, with a passion for quality improvement and patient-centered care, you will help shape the future of radiology services at Plymouth.

About Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital
Located next to the Nuffield Health Devonshire Gym in Derriford, Plymouth, our hospital has been a part of the community since 1971.
Our Diagnostic Imaging department handles plain film studies for inpatients, outpatients, and external referrals, theatre lists, general and MSK ultrasound clinics, and fluoroscopy. We operate a mobile CT service several times a month and a mobile MRI service weekly. Currently managed by a third party, as Head of Department, you will have overall responsibility for these services. The hospital features three main theatres, including two with laminar flow, primarily used for orthopaedic and spinal surgeries, and a minor ops theatre. Our outpatient department has 12 consulting rooms.
We perform treatments across various specialties, including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, and Neurosurgery. We are proud to be rated among the top 50 hospitals in the country for total hip replacement patient outcomes.
