We are working with a large multi-site manufacturing business wo have a requirement for a
Senior Accounts Assistant
to join them on a fixed term contract basis. The role is to assist with the monthly transactional reporting processes, as well as provide an effective payments schedule and timely sales reporting during this period of transition.
As
Senior Accounts Assistant
the role will require: -
Manage the end-to-end processing on a full 360 basis across multiple businesses within the Group, resolving queries as they arise.
Management of all payments to suppliers in a timely manner.
Monitor and report the daily and weekly cash balances and cashbook processing.
Prepare bank payments, supplier statements and general ledger reconciliations.
Complete month end balance sheet reconciliations.
Accruals/Prepayments.
Manage all the company expenses and credit card balances.
The successful candidate will bring to the role the following attributes: -
Solid background in
Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant, preferably in an international business.
Strong experience with systems such as Excel, Oracle, SAP and/or Power BI.
Experience with the development of controls with all transactional processing within a multi-site business.
Good team player and communicator at all levels of personnel.
The role is for a 6-month contract period and will require a team player who can provide an effective transactional processing cycle throughout the month of all the ledgers and payments department. The business operates on a multi-site basis and therefore you need to be able to communicate effectively with your team and peers across multiple locations.
