About The Role
This role keeps IT's financial processes running smoothly, from maintaining the invoicing inbox to raising SAP Purchase Orders and supporting managers with PO's. You'll manage invoice approvals and queries, keep financial templates and SAP guidance updated, and support new starters with SAP and financial process training. You'll also run ad‑hoc SAP reports, help maintain SAP data, and support financial reporting. SAP experience is required, and it's a great opportunity to build strong financial administration skills within a supportive IT team.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain financial templates and SAP guidance in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
Support the induction of new starters in group IT, providing training of SAP and financial processes to colleagues and temporary contractors.
Champion adherence to financial governance processes across the department.
Look for ways to streamline existing financial governance processes.
Maintain the IT department invoicing email inbox.
Raise Purchase orders in SAP, in line with IT budget.
Support IT managers/project teams to raise PO's as and when needed.
Obtain approval for invoices & processing for payment.
Working with accounts payable and contract owners to resolve any invoicing queries.
Ability to run ad-hoc SAP reports on group IT costs.
Support Financial Controls Lead to maintain SAP data / delete unused cost codes, as and when required.
Support financial reporting for department.
About You
You're someone who thrives in a busy, fast‑paced environment and brings solid experience from administrative, financial or project support roles. With previous SAP experience and strong PC skills across Excel, Word and SharePoint, you feel confident navigating systems and solving problems. Highly organised and detail‑driven, you enjoy working with numbers and take real pride in accuracy. You communicate clearly, work well with colleagues to resolve queries, and bring a positive, proactive approach to every challenge. Always keen to learn, you're ready to upskill quickly and embrace new systems and processes as they come your way.
