Job Overview
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Static Band 4 Senior Therapy Technician post within a fast‑paced team at UHNM. The role is based in the Neurology and Neurosurgery team at Royal Stoke Hospital and involves working with patients across neurological, respiratory, and multi‑pathology cases.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver physiotherapy and occupational therapy interventions under the direction of qualified staff.
* Assess and support patient transfers, functional tasks and cognitive management.
* Assist in therapeutic interventions for patients with cognitive difficulties, escalating issues to qualified therapists when required.
* Supervise and mentor rotational therapy technicians and contribute to the in‑service training programme.
Qualifications & Competencies
* Dual competencies in both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with senior physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with qualified staff.
