Role Overview:
The role shall include but not limited to the following requirements:
• Concrete pour preparation works and other GCO activities as directed
• Placing, spreading, compacting and finishing fresh concrete using profession techniques.
• Operation of concrete plant including compaction plant, mechanical screeds, hand floats and power floats
• Dry concrete finishing of cured concrete to achieve specified standards
• Following all health and safety and wellbeing policies.
• Is fully committed to and actively promotes all aspects of Build Sure and SRM values, culture and behaviours throughout the project.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. CSCS Blue Card (with relevant Concrete finishing VQ)
• Level 2 in Concrete Finishing
• Power tools
• Face Fit Tested
• Working at Heights
• Asbestos Awareness
• IOSH Working Safely
• Positive attitude to work
• Strong communication skills
Desirable Skills and Experience
2. Full UK Driving license as transport to site will not be provided.
• Experience of working in a nuclear environment.
