Key Responsibilities
* Design complex mechanical components and subsystems
* Full product lifecycle - concept generation, detailed design and design for manufacture
* Create and refine 3D CAD models
* Conduct hands-on prototyping, testing and troubleshooting
* Work across multiple projects within a multidisciplinary engineering team
* Manage your own workload to meet project timelines
Key Requirements
* Good understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture principles
* Experience developing electro-mechanical systems, medical devices, diagnostics or precision instruments
* Track record of taking products from concept through to production
* Good understanding of manufacturing techniques
* Hands-on and practical skills - prototyping, testing and troubleshooting
