Job Summary: The Senior Director of RD&E for Bioprocessing is responsible for leading a global RD&E organization and product portfolio for the Life Sciences Sector of Ecolab. This role involves collaborating with marketing, sales, customers, and industry experts to identify and execute innovative product concepts while maintaining current lines. The director will lead technology advancements, new product opportunities, and operational improvements, ensuring alignment with strategic plans and leveraging global RD&E resources to optimize ROI. Reports to the VP of RD&E for Global Life Sciences.

What You Will Do:
* Develop long-term technology strategies and product roadmaps aligned with customer needs and growth objectives.
* Make data-driven decisions to enhance product profitability.
* Lead innovation portfolios to meet strategic and sales targets.
* Establish strategic technical partnerships for business expansion.
* Build technical relationships with customers to support sales.
* Provide leadership to a global team, demonstrating cross-functional and global thinking.
* Contribute to industry leadership through thought leadership and operational excellence.
* Coach and develop leaders to foster innovation and collaboration.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders through presentations and strategic discussions.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field, with 10+ years of experience.
* At least 5 years in product development and leading high-performing teams.
* Management experience with a proven record of developing talent and organizational design, including global teams.
* Experience in pharmaceutical market product development.
* Travel: 20% if based in Wales, UK; 50% if based in King of Prussia, PA.
Preferred Qualifications:
* MS or PhD in a related discipline.
* Strong communication and leadership skills to engage with partners and represent Ecolab externally.
* Proven track record in innovation, technology development, and launching new products/services.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering an inclusive environment and making sound business decisions.

Compensation: $152,100 - $228,100 annually, with bonuses and incentives based on performance. Compensation factors include experience, education, and location.
