Start Date: September 2025We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs, ensuring that they have equal access to the curriculum and are able to achieve their full potential.The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with students with special educational needs, a relevant qualification in education or special educational needs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate and patient approach to working with children, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Your new role
* Providing one-to-one support to students with special educational needs
* Assisting with the development and implementation of EHCP's
* Supporting small groups
* Encouraging students to develop their social skills and independence
* Liaising with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the appropriate support
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, or desire to do so
* A relevant qualification in education or special educational needs, or qualified by experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A compassionate and patient approach to working with children
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
