Role: Mental Health Transport Assistant
Contract: Full-time, 46.25 hours, rolling 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights)
Responsibilities:
1. Support and transport vulnerable service users as part of a team.
2. Attend the office within one hour during on-call shifts.
3. Maintain an Enhanced DBS (organised and paid for during induction).
4. Provide a professional and caring service for all patients.
5. Ensure patient safety and adhere to safe systems of work.
6. Support patient care during assessments in line with the Mental Health Act.
7. Use company vehicles and equipment safely, prepare patient paperwork, and drive to various locations.
8. Complete full training including Patient Care, Transport, De-Escalation, Physical Intervention, Handcuff training, First Aid. NVQs available.

Requirements:
* Valid UK manual driving licence for at least 1 year
* Age over 21 (due to insurance)
* Passion for working in a fast-paced environment
* Reliability and ability to work under pressure
* Good communication skills

Pay and Enhancements:
* Blended rate of £14.09 per hour for day, night, and weekend shifts
* Annual remuneration starting from £33,896.20
* Over-runs paid at £22 per hour
* Extra £1.20/hour for work at a mental health place of safety and bed watch activities
* Additional £1.75/hour for some call-in or overtime shifts
