Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes. Also, once trained you will be working on reception to meet and greet customers.
Duties
* Assist with accounts team ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
* Perform data entry tasks, maintaining up-to-date financial records and documentation.
* Utilise accounting software such as Sage line 50
* Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
* Maintain organised files and records for easy retrieval of financial information.
* Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounts and financial matters.
Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software including Sage is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of accounts processes within the financial services sector.
* Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team .
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
