Responsibilities:
* Safely perform all tasks related to the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground facilities (excluding vaults, manholes, and hot compounds).
* Safely and efficiently troubleshoot and repair distribution circuits and equipment both overhead (OH) and underground (UG).
* Proficient in computer programs and adaptable to new utility technologies.
* Work alone or with a lower classification team member, following safety standards, design standards, and work methods.
* Work extended hours, including nights and weekends, in various weather conditions, and travel as needed for emergencies or storms.
* Complete an interview, Lineman Simulation Assessment Test (SAT), and pass a DOT background check and drug screen.
* Reside within 40 minutes of the assigned Operations Complex within 90 days of employment; relocation assistance is not provided.

Working Conditions:
* Shift work, overtime, weekends, frequent travel.
* Indoor and outdoor environments with varying weather conditions.
* Potential work in confined spaces, during emergencies, and at night.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Verifiable experience as a Journeyman Class 1 or A Level Lineman.
* At least 2 years of experience with overhead primary/secondary distribution systems.
* Valid Class A CDL.
* Completion of a line specialist apprenticeship or equivalent training.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with underground distribution systems.
* Knowledge of line stringing, equipment operation, and material handling.
* Leadership skills, troubleshooting knowledge, and excellent communication skills.
Specific Requirements:
* Respond to emergencies 24/7.
* Lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
* Work safely from poles, bucket trucks, and ground.
* Proficiency with live-line maintenance, fall restraint, and climbing.
* Follow OSHA and safety procedures.
* Work various shifts, including on-call, holidays, and weekends.
* Travel and stay overnight as needed, especially during storm restoration.
* Residency within 40 minutes of the assigned Operations Center.
