About this Role
We're looking for a Maintenance Controller to join our Bus & Coach team in Milton Keynes. You'll help keep our fleet of buses and coaches in top condition, making sure every vehicle is safe, roadworthy and performing at its best. This is a hybrid role - blending working from home, and working from our Head Office in Tongwell, Milton Keynes.
Authorise repairs, maintenance and servicing for our fleet
Manage cost control while maintaining quality and safety
Liaise with workshops, suppliers and customers to keep vehicles operational
Handle breakdown calls and support quick resolutions
Ensure accurate record keeping and warranty compliance
About You
You'll be the kind of person who loves problem-solving and takes pride in doing things right. You'll have strong engineering knowledge, ideally gained within a HGV or PSV setting, and a good understanding of vehicle maintenance standards.
Confident making technical decisions and authorising work
Skilled in managing suppliers and interpreting technical reports
Able to balance cost efficiency with uncompromising safety
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Collaborative and keen to share knowledge with others
